Terms of service
These terms govern your use of IFRS 18 Navigator. Read them before you rely on anything the product tells you.
What this service is
IFRS 18 Navigator is a reference tool for finance professionals. It returns written guidance drawn from a knowledge base we author, with references to the paragraphs of IFRS 18 that the guidance relates to. It is not an accounting, audit, legal or tax advisory service, and no professional relationship arises from using it.
Your responsibility for conclusions
You remain responsible for the accounting positions you adopt and for the financial statements you publish. Answers must be verified against IFRS 18 as issued and against your own facts. Where the standard leaves a matter to management judgement, the product will say so, and the decision remains yours.
Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials secure and do not share your account. You must be authorised to upload any financial information you provide.
Your content
Financial statements and other files you upload remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to process them so the product can answer your questions, and to store them for the retention period stated in the privacy policy. We do not use your uploaded financial data to train models.
Fees and cancellation
Free accounts are limited to five cited questions per rolling month. Premium is billed in advance through Stripe and may be cancelled at any time from the billing portal, with access continuing to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded on a partial period unless the law requires it.
Fair use
Premium is unlimited within fair use. Automated bulk querying, resale of output, and use of the service to build a competing knowledge base are not permitted.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Model providers we route to may be unavailable, in which case the product will say so rather than answer without a source.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the accounting or reporting consequences of a position you adopt.
Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. The service is operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
